About Whitchurch Association
Formed in 2005, the purpose of the Whitchurch Association is to serve the local community and enhance the facilities and standing of the town.
As well as managing the Gill Nethercott Centre, the Association aims to work with the local authorities, town council, voluntary and other organisations to:
- provide facilities for social welfare, recreation and leisure
- help to preserve, protect, develop our local environment and improve features of historic or public interest.
The Whitchurch Association is a charity, run by trustees, and its income is generated from events held at the Gill Nethercott Centre, supplemented by grants, donations and membership subscriptions. Although supported by the team who manage the Centre, it relies on volunteers to help deliver its activities and projects.

Support us with Membership
You can support the work of the Association by becoming a member. After your first year of membership, you are eligible for 10% discount on all personal bookings at the Gill Nethercott Centre.
- Individual membership – £2.50/year
- Family membership – £5/year
- Group membership – £20/year

Community Lottery
The Whitchurch Association is a member of the Basingstoke and Deane Community Lottery. This raises funds for local groups while providing monthly prizes to participants.
